Youth Engagement & Support
One of our key goals is to establish and maintain a youth council that enhances the capacity of young people to participate in community-based activities. The council actively encourages the formation of various interest-based clubs among youths from different communities. These clubs cover a wide range of interests such as art and crafts, environmental conservation, community service, education, blue economy, science and technology, and more.
The youth engagement & Youth Hub section is under the leadership of Mr. Simon Barra
Support positive youth development programmes with an engagement-based approach where young people are engaged within their communities, schools, agencies, peer groups and families.
Facilitate and support activities/programmes geared towards youth development needs in partnership with Youth Leaders and other partners which will empower the youths and inculcate a sense of belonging, volunteerism, and encourage positive lifestyle.
To support and working for and with the youth for their holistic development.
Build youth capacity for community engagement to participate actively in a group or clubs based on their own interest, and provide them with support they need to succeed.
Create opportunities for youths to develop positive relationship and acquire the knowledge and skills they need to make successful transition into adulthood.
Assist youths in their pursuit of employment in partnership with relevant departments, organizations and sectors that have vacancies.
