The Seychelles National Youth Council (SNYC) is the national body mandated to represent, empower, and advance the interests of young people across Seychelles. Established under the provisions of the SNYC Act and operating under the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Council plays a central role in shaping and strengthening the youth sector at both policy and community levels.
At the heart of SNYC is a clear and compelling vision: a Seychelles where every young person, in every community, is empowered through quality youth work to realise their full potential and actively participate in an inclusive society.
SNYC recognises youth work as both an educational and developmental process that contributes meaningfully to the growth of young people, while also being engaging, fulfilling, and enjoyable. Through structured programmes, initiatives, and partnerships, we create spaces where young people can develop essential life skills, explore their talents, and build confidence for the future.
Led by Chief Executive Officer Michel Pierre, and supported by a dedicated team of professionals, SNYC operates with a strong commitment to professionalism, innovation, and impact-driven service delivery. Our work spans across communities, reaching young people aged 18 to 35, ensuring inclusivity and equal access to opportunities.
Guided by our motto “Reaching Out to the Youth”, we remain committed to connecting with young people wherever they are, ensuring that no one is left behind.
